Lawn, A large room made into a black, light-absorbing box with a large square skylight, directly below the skylight and corresponding to its size, a silver quivering "lawn", The lawn consisted of thousands of long, thin silver previously prepared wires straightened by hand by friends, colleagues and passersby in local pubs, cafes, at weddings, in homes etc in Brussels, planted in a square, textured insulation foam. A vibrating motor would occasionally create the wires to tremor, light from the skylight and a small side light would reflect the shiny silver hairs, making them glow. This installation took place at L'Academie Royale Des Beaux Arts de Bruxelles around 1996
